Private Baku Night Tour – Your Own Car, Driver & Schedule

Overview

  • Tour Type:Private tour
  • Language:Arabic, Azerbaijan, English, Italian, Russian, Spanish, Turkish
A private Baku night tour gives you the whole evening on your own terms: your own vehicle, your own driver, and a route you can slow down or stretch out whenever something catches your eye. No shared minibus, no fixed departure, no waiting for other passengers to come back to the car.

The route covers the landmarks that make Baku at night worth leaving the hotel for — Highland Park, the Flame Towers, Baku Boulevard, Flag Square, Crystal Hall, the Heydar Aliyev Center and the Alley of Martyrs — but how long you stay at each one is your decision, not the schedule's.

  • Alley of Martyrs & eternal flame — a still finish above the city, or swap it for the boulevard

Important information

  • This is a panoramic driving tour with photo stops — the walking is light and optional.
  • Tell us your preferred start time when you book; earlier departures suit summer sunsets.
  • The order of stops can shift with traffic, and we will adjust the route rather than cut it short.
  • Bring a jacket — the terraces above the city stay windy even in summer.
  • Hotel pickup included, priced per vehicle — the bigger your group, the less each person pays

Cancellation policy

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.

Itinerary

Hotel Pick-up

Your driver will pick you up directly from your hotel lobby or designated accommodation. Settle into a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle as we set off for the tour.

Highland Park – Panoramic Baku Night Views

Highland Park sits on the ridge above the Old City, and it is the one place where the whole bay opens up at once. Arrive before dusk and you catch the sky still burning behind the towers; arrive later and the city is a full carpet of light. Because the car waits for you, there is no reason to rush the walk along the terrace — most guests stay here longest.

Alley of Martyrs

Highland Park sits on the ridge above the Old City, and it is the one place where the whole bay opens up at once. Arrive before dusk and you catch the sky still burning behind the towers; arrive later and the city is a full carpet of light. Because the car waits for you, there is no reason to rush the walk along the terrace — most guests stay here longest.

Flame Towers – Choose Your Own Angle

The Flame Towers run a looping light show across their façades, and they photograph completely differently from below than from the ridge above. On a private tour your driver can take you to whichever vantage point suits the shot you want, and you can wait for a full cycle of the animation instead of catching half of it.

Flag Square & Crystal Hall

Across the bay, Flag Square carries one of the world's tallest flagpoles and looks back over the water toward the illuminated skyline — the reverse view of what you saw from Highland Park. Beside it, the glass shell of Crystal Hall, built for the Eurovision Song Contest, shifts colour through the night. This corner is quiet after dark, which makes it one of the easiest places for photos.

Baku Boulevard – Step Out and Walk a Stretch

Baku Boulevard runs for kilometres along the Caspian, and in the evening the fountains, the Ferris wheel and Little Venice are all lit. With a private car you can be dropped at one end, walk a section at your own pace, stop for tea or ice cream, and be picked up further along.

Victory Park

Victory Park opened in November 2024 on 8 November Avenue, a short drive along the seafront from Baku Boulevard. Its 44-metre Triumphal Arch is floodlit after dark and stands over a wide open plaza, which makes it one of the newest night-photo spots in Baku.

Heydar Aliyev Center (Exterior View)

The Heydar Aliyev Center stands away from the seafront, so reaching it usually costs a group tour a chunk of its schedule. In a private vehicle it is a short detour. Zaha Hadid's white curves are floodlit after dark and the surrounding park is open to walk through — this is an exterior photo stop, as the museum closes in the evening.

Hotel Drop-off

After completing the tour, your driver will comfortably transfer you back to your hotel or drop you off at your preferred central location in the city.

Frequently asked questions

Is this a fully private tour?

Yes. The vehicle and the driver are reserved for your group alone — nobody else joins the private Baku night tour you book.

How is the price calculated?

Per vehicle, not per person. You choose the vehicle category that fits your group — Sedan, Vito or Sprinter — and the total stays the same however many seats you fill.

Can we change the stops or the order of the route?

Yes, within the planned route. You can spend longer at Highland Park, skip a stop you have already seen, or ask to finish on Baku Boulevard instead of the Alley of Martyrs.

Can the tour start earlier or later than 19:00?

Yes. The 19:00 start is a default, not a rule. In summer many guests leave later so the lights are fully on; in winter an earlier start works better. Tell us your preference when booking.

Is a guide included?

The driver speaks English or Russian and knows the route, but a licensed guide is optional and charged separately. Add one if you want the history behind each landmark explained in detail.

Is the private night tour suitable for children?

Very much so. Short drives, no long walks, and the freedom to head back to the hotel whenever you like make the private format easier with young children than any shared departure.

How is this different from the daytime Baku City Tour?

The Baku City Tour covers history, architecture and the Old City in daylight. This evening programme is about panoramas and illuminated landmarks — the same city, an entirely different impression. Booking the city tour by day and the night tour after dark is the most popular combination.
