Baku Night Tour – Evening City Lights & Panoramic Views

The tour begins at Highland Park, the terrace above the Old City that gives you the widest Baku night view available anywhere in town. From here you can see the Caspian coastline, the curve of the boulevard, the Old City walls and the Flame Towers rising right behind you — all in one frame. Your guide will point out the main districts and the best angles for photos.

The three Flame Towers are covered in LED screens that shift between flickering flames, the Azerbaijani flag and waving figures. We stop where the full sequence is visible, so you can watch a complete cycle and photograph the towers from the ground as well as from the viewpoint above.

We drive along Baku Boulevard, the seaside promenade that stretches for kilometres beside the Caspian. In the evening the fountains, the Ferris wheel and the yacht club are all lit, and the whole waterfront reflects on the water — one of the most relaxed and photogenic parts of the city after dark.

Flag Square was built around one of the tallest flagpoles in the world, and at night the illuminated flag is visible from across the bay. Next to it stands Crystal Hall, the arena built for the Eurovision Song Contest, whose glass façade changes colour throughout the evening.

Victory Park is a recent addition to Baku's evening skyline, spread over nine hectares in the Khatai district. After dark the lighting picks out the memorial arch, the Wall of Memory and the Karabakh carpet patterns in the landscaping. The coach stops long enough for photos and a short walk before continuing along the seafront.

A photo stop at the Heydar Aliyev Center, Zaha Hadid's famous white curves and one of the most photographed buildings in Azerbaijan. The lighting after dark emphasises the flowing shape of the roof, which is why many visitors prefer seeing it at night. This is an exterior stop — the museum inside is not included.

The tour ends at the Alley of Martyrs, a memorial to those who died in the events of January 1990 and in the Karabakh war. It is a calm, respectful place with an eternal flame and a wide terrace looking out over the bay — a fitting last panorama before the drive back to your hotel.
